Waters of Life

We have the joy of celebrating a number of people being baptized this Sunday.  As we have done over the past number of years, I will speak to the nature of baptism both for our instruction and encouragement.  We will look at Jesus' baptism in the gospel of Matthew.  The baptism of Jesus offers much theological insight into our Triune God and his redemptive ways.  I think this passage will both strengthen and embolden faithfulness in his church.  Understanding Jesus’ baptism, we can better understand what it means to follow him in baptism with affection and obedience.
