The Lord Provides for His People

In Genesis 22, we have one of the most moving and troubling stories in the Bible. We walk through the chapter looking at it from Abraham’s perspective. This would be the greatest test he has faced. Will he obey God? While we find Abraham with a confident trust in God, the story is more than that. It is really about God who provides all that we need in this life and the next. It pictures for us God's greatest act of kindness to provide what we most need, a Savior to reconcile us to God and each other.
