The Glory of Baptism

Summary:  Jesus gave both baptism and the Lord's Supper as gifts for the church to remember the beauty of the gospel. Baptism is an outward display of the saving work of God in a person's life, a picture of God rescuing sinners from judgment and reconciling them to God as Father. It pictures deliverance from judgment, forgiveness of sins, and the dawning of a new creation. It is an exciting visual picture of God's saving work. 

This Sunday we will celebrate 9 friends being baptized and watch them declare their love for and need of the gospel.  You will get to hear their testimonies and rejoice with them over God's mercy.
