Since We Have Jesus

Because Jesus laid down his life for us and now serves as our great priest, we should confidently draw near to enter God’s presence, holding fast our faith in him in the midst of trial and we should consider how best to encourage one another, especially remembering to regularly gather together, in view of his return. This was a needed word to “the Hebrews,” and to Christ Covenant today, in our own historical moment. Spiritual sluggishness from within and persecution from without are overcome and endured by treasuring our great priest, the Lord Jesus Christ. Since we have such a mediator, we’re summoned to faith and to minister to one another, face to face.
