Revival & Reunion
Series: Genesis: The Beginning of a People

The brothers set off for Canaan with a caravan of goods and a message from Joseph to come to Egypt. This message, which is about God's providence and fulfillment of promises, is received by a stunned and disbelieving Jacob who can't fathom all that he is being told. Yet after the brothers explain all of Joseph's message, the Lord graciously renews the heart of Jacob and the resettlement begins. Though Jacob still holds fears about going to Egypt, the Lord encourages his steps and promises him that he will see his long lost son before he dies. Jacob joyfully meets Joseph in the fields of Goshen where his familial tribe will become a nation. In this passage we will see the Lord's unchanging love and His faithfulness to bring about all his promises.
