Reasons for Endurance

Paul continues his teaching on endurance through suffering. In our passage, Paul offers reasons for Timothy to endure. Paul's reasons were to fuel his motivation to be faithful and enduring even in his present circumstances. Paul will use the example of Jesus as well as his own example of faithful endurance as a model for Timothy to follow.
