Praising the One on the Throne

This week in our study through Psalms 42-49, we find ourselves at Psalm 47. We open to a scene of loud and energetic praise to God. The entirety of the Psalm calls us to look at God who is enthroned and receiving worship from all the earth. Consider all the language used to talk about how we are expected to worship: clap, shout, and sing praises to God. It calls us to reflect on our own understanding of how we approach worship on Sundays and every other area of our lives. As you prepare to gather this Sunday, pray that you and all of the church would come excited to praise God with joy.
