Praise the LORD

This fall, our men’s and women’s Bible studies are looking at the book of Psalms.  So this Sunday, as we’re in between sermon series, we give our attention to Psalm 148, one of the 5 “Hallelujah” Psalms that conclude the book.  The theme is clear to see.  The entire creation is summoned to offer praise to God, for everything owes their existence to him and his majesty reigns supreme.  And uniquely, he has “raised up a horn for his people,” a whisper of the coming Messiah.
