Love

This week we will conclude our short series on the Attributes of God by looking at God's love. Of all the attributes we have looked at, love is perhaps the most challenging to define. In fact, the Bible uses at least six different Greek and Hebrew words that are translated into English as love. Yet in His kindness, God has also given us ample teaching on both His love and also on how we are to love. In 1 John 4:7-12, the word love is used fifteen times in just six verses! Here we discover that in order to love others well, we must be connected to the source of love. We must know the God who IS love.
