Jesus Came To Put Death to Death

CS Lewis called the incarnation, Jesus coming to our world as a human, with flesh and blood to be the grand miracle. While the religions of the world seek to escape the evils and sufferings of this present world, Jesus enters it, not as a king with power or a prince with pomp, but as a child. He enters this world to transform us and it and will do this by his death. In Advent, we celebrate this coming as it gives profound hope to humanity for joy and happiness. Let’s peer into this glorious mystery.
