Jesus Came in the Flesh
Series: The Light Has Come
As I have mentioned in previous sermons, the first 18 verses of John’s gospel are a prologue to the entire book. In this gospel, John explains God’s plan to deliver and redeem the world by sending His glorious and unique Son. Last week, we saw how Jesus came as the true light into the darkness of this age. The first week, we saw that Jesus came as the Word. And this week, we see that the Word was made flesh. Consider the radical message that God became man. Jesus came in flesh to dwell with us, to display God's glory, and to invite us to share in His saving grace where we will find forgiveness, freedom, and a future hope enjoying God.
