He is Worthy

After a week of contemplating of Jesus as our sin bearer and redeemer, it is with great joy we come to celebrate Easter morning. Happy Easter. We find quite a celebration in Revelation chapter 5. Let me remind you that in 4:1, John has been invited into heaven to see something unique. Once in heaven, John sees all of creation worshipping God. Chapter 5 continues this scene but adds a twist. John is still gazing upon God but in this next scene, we see the coronation and worship of Jesus, once slain, but now reigning as the Risen King. We are given a look into something mysterious and marvelous. Come with joy and excitement to celebrate Jesus, risen and reigning for God's glory and our good.
