God's Grace in the Life of Sarah Edwards
Series: Biographical Sermon

Once a year, we hear a biographical sermon on a Christian from the past. The Book of Proverbs teaches us that there is great value in an abundance of counselors (e.g. Prov. 11:14), and church history is one of those counselors, as it is full of stories of Christian brothers and sisters whose lives were marked by grace. Through looking at their lives, we can worship God as we see his grace extending throughout the ages to needy sinners like us. This year's biographical sermon is on the life of Sarah Edwards, as seen through her marriage to the 18th century pastor Jonathan Edwards.
