Final Words of Blessing

Final words are always important words. If you had to prepare your own final words, what would you offer to those listening? Paul offers a prayer, really a prayer wish, an expression of his heart for this church. To a church he planted, instructed, and defended, to a church under threat of persecution from the pagan culture, and threats of unruliness from the inside, Paul offers a prayer for God’s blessings upon this church.  Consider his request for the peace of the Lord, his presence and his grace as essential to finishing well in faithfulness.
