Declaring God's Glory

Last week, Pastor Daniel shared from 2 Corinthians 3:7-18 about why we are to love God's glory and how by doing so we ourselves are changed from one degree of glory to another. We were reminded of the first aspect of our mission statement: We exist to love God’s glory. This Sunday, we will be covering the third aspect of our mission statement: to go out in love to serve God’s world. In 2 Corinthians 5:18-21, Paul explains to the Corinthians that through the ministry of Christ we are reconciled back to God. And not only has God graciously reconciled us to himself, but he has made us his ambassadors and has given us the ministry and the message of reconciliation to take to the world. Therefore, we go out and share with them how their sins can be forgiven and how righteousness is offered through Christ.
