Church Planting: Peace Through The Preeminent Christ

As we consider the growth of both major U.S. cities and rural areas, the need for new gospel-preaching churches is clear. Since the need for church planting is great, what can compel us to the radical sacrifice and service required to pursue such an endeavor? Colossians 1:15-20 presents for us a glorious hymn of "cosmic Christology", where we see that we do indeed serve a Christ who has power in creation, dominion over creation, and triumph through new creation. When we are captivated by the preeminent Christ, we can joyfully join Him in radical service.
