Bearing God's Image

On the sixth day, God deliberated and then created the man and the woman in his image and and after his likeness. God spoke to the new couple and gave them the task to fill the earth and subdue it. Theologians have called this the cultural mandate. As we look at this passage, we will come to see more clearly what it means to be human. In our modern confusion over identity, we see how God has created us with dignity, capacity and purpose.
