A Place of Unique Relationships
Series: Rethinking the Church
In our passage today, Paul instructs Timothy to model healthy relationships for the congregation as they love each other and care for each other, especially widows (5:3-16). In Paul's mind, the church is unique, having relationships across generations and genders as well as sacrificing for the needs of those who are most needy and in positions of weakness. This is one way that we evidence the goodness of God to the world.
