A New Creation

Paul begins the end of his letter by taking the pen from the secretary’s hand and finishing the letter himself. This is not a simple goodbye, but Paul reminds them of the theme of the letter: God has brought a new order into our world through his Son, crucified, raised and now at his right hand. In these final words, he warns us one more time of man-made religion and points us to the glory of Christ and him crucified. For those who walk by faith, as a new creation, we will find peace and mercy as we wait for this Blessed Savior.
