A Final Word

In this last section of Paul’s letter, he closes with personal remarks and comments. While most normally skim over these verses, let us pause to read them to gain a significant picture of the relationships in the early church. You see some remain faithful and committed while others wander away, faithless to the gospel. Yet, even to the end, Paul walks out his charge to preach in and out of season, and in this he testifies to the faithfulness of God in providing strength and hope to bring the message of salvation to the nations.
