A Final Feast
Series: Dining with Jesus
We are invited to hear the peer into the worship of heaven in our passage. Following God's judgment of Babylon, or the sinful world, all of heaven rejoices over God's just and true judgments. This chorus of Hallelujah is followed by another round of praise for God's hosting the final feast between his Son, the Lamb of God, and the bride, the church. A day all long for has finally come, and joy, praise, and exaltation is the tone. As Jesus comes to take his bride, the church falls down in worship of God. Consider this final day, when wrongs are righted, evil vanquished, and we see Jesus face to face—made new to enjoy God forever and ever.
