Fighting for Joy Seminar
February 8, 2025 6:30pm
Have you ever wondered how your life can best be stewarded for the good of the church and for the kingdom of God? We know that we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit who empowers us to minister to others. We know that God has given us gifts to build one another up in the faith. How should we think about these things? Paul reminds Timothy to “fan into flame the gift of God which is in you” (2 Tim 1:6). How do I know what my spiritual gift is and how can I be active in its use? Clearly, our gifts can be neglected! (1 Tim 4:14). How should I rightly understand the role and work of the Holy Spirit in these matters?
All are invited February 8 and 9 to hear from distinguished New Testament scholar and author Dr. Tom Schreiner as he teaches on this topic. Dr. Schreiner is a Professor of New Testament Interpretation and Biblical Theology at Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY, where he also serves as an elder in his church. Please make plans to join us for this unique time of instruction and encouragement for your own discipleship and good of the church.
Seminar Schedule:
Saturday, February 8
