Men's Conference
September 29, 2023 6:00pm

On Friday evening, September 29, and Saturday morning, September 30, we will host a church-wide Men's Conference for all men ages 18 and up. Our speaker is Alex DiPrima, preaching pastor at Emmanuel Church, who will speak on the ministry of Charles Spurgeon and his church, Metropolitan Tabernacle. Alex will draw from Spurgeon and Metropolitan Tabernacle's example of evangelism with special attention to how they engaged their neighbors and those living in poverty.
Friday night we’ll enjoy dinner on the church grounds, so please bring a lawn chair! After dinner Alex will speak on “The Life and Ministry of Charles Haddon Spurgeon” and a sermon entitled, “Love Your Neighbor as Yourself”. For Saturday morning, we’ll meet at the church for breakfast and hear the remaining talk, “Spurgeon and the Poor: How the Gospel Compels Love and Concern for the Needy”.
