Becoming Sons and Daughters of God

In our passage this week, we see that though the law condemns sinners to judgment, the promise of God offers justification and forgiveness through faith in Jesus, the Messiah.  This is the heart of the Christian faith, how through Jesus we become sons and daughters of God, and though different from one another, in Christ we become one with other Christians.  And together, we long for the inheritance to come to the children of God.
