Amazing Authority and Power

We are beginning a new series on the miracles of Jesus in the gospel of Mark. As we shall learn, miracles are not limited to alleviate a spiritual or physical problem but to confirm to us the glory and character of Jesus so that we might follow Jesus with radical joy. This is what you see in the first recorded miracle of Mark. Jesus comes with an authority announcing the Kingdom of God has come and then he cleanses a demonized man and heals the sick proving the truth of his message and his ministry.
