Women’s Summer Biography Book Club

This summer, we will read Carolyn Weber's book, Surprised by Oxford. When Weber set out to study Romantic literature at Oxford University, she didn't give much thought to God or spiritual matters—but over the course of her studies she encountered the Jesus of the Bible and her world turned upside down. Surprised by Oxford chronicles her conversion experience with wit, humor, and insight into how becoming a Christian changed her.
Please join us as we read this wonderful memoir over the summer months, then gather in small groups in homes to discuss the book on Wednesday, August 9, and Thursday, August 10. Copies of the book are available for purchase in the lobby for $14 or online.
