Mark grew up thinking he was a good kid and that there were many paths to God.  While in high school friends witnessed to him and he began to read the Bible.  When he was 16 the Lord opened His eyes to the sinful condition of his own heart and the holiness and glory of Jesus Christ and he believed the gospel. While in college he grew through Providence Baptist Church in Raleigh and the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Mark has degrees from  N.C. State University (BA) and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv).  He and his wife Katie have five kids. The Carringtons have lived and served Washington DC, Turkey, Ontario, and Kansas City, MO.
