Christ Covenant Kids

Christ Covenant Kids

"But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus." (2 Tim 3:14-15)

We want the kids of Christ Covenant to have fun while learning about God and faith. We want the parents to feel confident that their children's classrooms will be places of encouragement, protection, and learning.

Volunteering

Teachers and helpers in any area of children's ministry must be members in good standing who have been though the children's ministry training and have had a background check completed. Once this process is complete, volunteers may serve in either the nursery or in the children's classrooms. Please contact the church office for further information.

Sunday School

The children of Christ Covenant PreK-6 attend various classrooms during the 10:00am Sunday School hour. During this time they are taught from the Show Me Jesus curriculum developed by Great Commission Publications.

Children's Church

Children's Church is only available at the 11:00am worship service. Children ages four to five will attend the first part of the worship service each Sunday with their parents. They will be dismissed after the music to attend children's church. Of course this option is alternative. Children are welcome to stay with their parents for the entirety of the worship service.

Joyful Noise

This exciting children's choir program meets during the school year every Wednesday night from 6:45-7:30pm, immediately preceeding the His Kids classes. Children will enjoy general musical training, and also learn songs which they occasionally sing for the gathered worship on Sunday mornings.

His Kids

Children's Wednesday night classes run throughout the school year from 7:30-8:30pm, immediately following the Joyful Noise children's choir. These classes combine activities and lessons prepared particularly for each age group. All classes use the Children Desiring God curriculum.
